Fragile Dreams; broken [not yet?]

23rd November, 2005

There was [is] an old, deserted train in the back of my university campus. I used to go there every now and then.
I took these photos with a cell phone camera back in school days. I know that it might not be a high-quality photo, but the whole occasion means a lot to me. It was like a day out with friends while we were not even off campus! Best friends.
Well, those days are long gone...

I could not choose but to select the Cityspace and Urban. If only there was a "reminisce" category...

P.S: New "about" page. I may change it later. I'm thinking of a collage or something.

While I really do appreciate your visits and comments, I might not be able to comment back or to reply to all your great comments on a regular basis.

Nice find, its amazing that it was so close to your campus. Good shot from a phone, makes me think of a ghost train.

I love camera phone photography, which phone did you use?
An abandoned train looks like a very good place for some photography. I hope you visit it more often because a lot of creativity can come out of abandoned things.

@Howard F.: I took these photos with a Nokia 3230. Now I own a Nokia N81 8Gb but I don't usually take photos with my cell phone anymore.
Your are right, abandoned places and things are full of adventures waiting to be discovered. Maybe one day I visit my university campus and take some more photos.

great shot, love the broken window in the left side of the frame and the effect of looking past it. it feels like you have told us that something frightening has happened but you still have to move on through the rest of the frame to get out

The real thing is that I'm stuck. I'm not even sure in which direction I should run! Should I run at all? Things are getting complicated here so let's leave it!
