Summer 2007
This is the "6-Wind Tower Reservoir" structure located in Yazd city, central Iran. We visit there every once in a while, because my father is from Yazd.
Intentionally, I didn't include the wind towers in the original frame as I wanted to focus on the steps.
While I really do appreciate your visits and comments, I might not be able to comment back or to reply to all your great comments on a regular basis.

It was a bright sunny day, but I decided to desaturate it so that I can get my desireable atmosphere.

Intensity. A moment in time. The dark areas look like shadows of people or spirits that have been preserved in the stone. Like stains or bleaches on the soul almost.

از هر چيزی که در لحظه به نظرم جالب بیاد عکس میگیرم. شاید اون عکس هیچ وقت پردازش نشه و همون جور توی آرشیو بمونه و شاید هم با دیدن دوباره نظر جدیدی دربارهاش پیدا کنم.
این عکس مال بیشتر از یک سال پیشه. از اون موقع تا امروز شاید چندین بار نگاهش کرده باشم. اما اولین باری بود که تصمیم گرفتم با این پردازش پستش کنم.
خوشحالم به نظرتون جالب بوده.
