Damon Schreiber from Toronto, CanadaSo classy in pure B+W! It takes a lot to distract some people from reading their newspapers. I think your shutter was too quiet. Fine street work, Shirin! 2 Feb 2009 5:17am bluechameleon from Vancouver, CanadaA very cool perspective and angle. I like this...as if you were peering between people of get this shot. Superb. 2 Feb 2009 5:51am Barbara from Florida, United StatesThis image was deserving of complete B&W. 2 Feb 2009 6:01am djedfre from schaumburg, United Statesgreat shot! did he ever buy one (other than the one in his hand) - or did he just read all of them? 2 Feb 2009 6:48am @djedfre: Thanks! Reminds me that I haven't read a newspaper in years : ] best...jerry 2 Feb 2009 8:16am @ordinaryimages: Thanks Jerry :) San G. from Encino, California, United StatesI love that you're sharing your process. You are a brave one. I'm much more shy to shoot this close. Sometimes I think there's a way to change the shutter so it doesn't make a sound, in which case I'd just click (or "not click") away. But I guess I'm worried how someone might react. I'm pretty good at holding and shooting without LOOKING like I'm taking a shot, and I can pull it off sometimes, but this challenge is really a CHALLENGE to me. You're doing great Shirin! 2 Feb 2009 8:50am @San G.: I used to take photos of our professor's ugly shoes at university! Well I'm that brave if it's called bravery ;) Yes, me too! sometimes I really want the shutter to be silent like a point and shoot camera because you'll never know how people would react. It might be a punch in the face! ;D Thanks a million Sandy :) Ron from Saint Louis, United StatesYou've captured a universal truth with this one, Shirin ... we're all curious ... ron 2 Feb 2009 10:51am @Ron: Thanks Ron!
